Help Instructor Robert take the Ice Bucket Challenge!

“Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects [motor neurons] in the brain and the spinal cord…. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.” – http://www.alsa.org

Please join us at 7pm, Thursday 8/28, outside the Paola school, as Instructor Robert Johnson takes the “Ice Bucket Challenge” to raise awareness and collect donations for ALS research! Who would like to dump a bucket of ice-water on their instructor’s head? Get him back for those push-ups maybe? Come and add to Instructor Robert’s challenge by bringing:

  1. a $10 donation for ALS
  2. AND, your own bucket or similar container filled with ice or ice-water
